3-6-09 Buggy programs
So, I thought I fixed the bugs in my wallpaper changer...I brought it to work and tried using it there and realized I did everything wrong. So I'll have to post the working one soon. ProCopy is ok...I've used it a few times and it works good. It still needs a lot more features.
FYI: if you teach a class about internet programming, dont use Icon for your cgi...use a program normal people use, k thanks.

3-3-09 ProCopy
So I got a internship at a place doing some IT work. I'm more of a programmer but I really like doing IT work, plus I work with fun people. We have a big project where we
need to replace all these old pc's with new pc's. So basically we need to copy the data over. I found out window's copy kinda sucks.
If it cant copy a file it just stops!
If I have to restart it I get to start over!
I can't tell it to skip certain files!(music files)
I made a program that will continue if there is an error and will compare files and see if they need to be replaced(based on timestamps). I could easily hardcode the last problem
but I'll do that later when I use a GUI. Even with all this, the program runs about 10% faster than the silly windows copy!
Because vista changed everything this program work only in XP. Probably contains some minor bugs. Let me know if you have any
suggestions. And again, I used the amazing language of autoit to create it. so here's the code:

3-3-09 wallpaperchanger!
So when fallout came out last year I played it for a while. I enjoyed the game...kinda easy but watever, I really loved taking pictures while I was killing those bad mutants.
I got some sweet ones that I will have to post somtime. There 5 megabytes right now so compression is a must. Anyways I liked the pictures and would set one as my background
and would probably change it once a week. Well, that got old. So I made a script that would do it for me!

to bad this wont work, i also used a guys program that can change desktop via command line. So my part wasnt much, just passed it in a random file
name from the pictures directory. anyways you can download this file at:

just put philipp's program in the same directory as mine, go into the registry and run my program and startup, make sure you got pictures in your pictures folder
and you should be good to go!
also side note: I'm actually learned to write html and javascript and learning other fun stuff. So I might actually upgrade my site so it isnt so lame...might

12-4-08 Website Update
So, I guess it has been a while since I have updated my website.
I've worked on a lot of projects this past year and hopfully I will be able to post some of them.
But first I need to figure out some stuff about my website. I was in the midle of changing the structure
of my website when I stopped so this should be fun. Anyways I have been mainly working in two languages this past year.
My favorite language is still autoit and I have been learning a lot more about visual basic. |
3-31-08 Visual Basic
Less then a week ago I discovered how awesome
Visual Basic is. I downloaded the 2008 edition. It's very
object oriented! I created an application with a bunch of pictures and
other things without even writing code!
So I began working on a program for a Youth Group
that help out in. It's going fairly well but I am worried about
one thing in VB: it wont work on a mac. I might end up porting my
code to ReadBasic ($100) unless I figure somthing else out.

Heres a walkthrough of my program so far:
RUNNING THE PROGRAM: just save the file to the desktop or anywhere
you want on your computer then run it.
ICONS ON BOTTOM: Then you can click the icons on the bottom which open up
other windows. The icons represents "meet the leaders", "small groups", and
"bible studies" respectively. Later I will edit the pictures so they say "small groups"
or whatever they're suppose to say, so its not just a guess click.
WEBSITE ON RIGHT: The "current events" panel on the right side is actually
a website that we can update with current information like camp dates.
MENU SYSTEM: I dont really like menus cuz pictures have more colors but i
guess some people prefer them - same function as bottom icons. Not all
the links work yet because I didn't have enough time to make pages for every option.
BIBLE STUDY: I can add almost anything here: videos, pictures, text...ect.
Also, there's a spot for the student to write notes that are saved. At the
end I could put some questions about how the lesson affects the student's
life and the responses could be saved. |
2-12-08 Warcraft III Updated
So they updated Warcraft so my patch will NOT work. The patch is now a no-cd crack so just unistall war3crack and
u should be good! The source code is still up if you really want to look at it. |
12-19-07 Warcraft III 1.21a no cd crack 2
So during finals this past week, I was thinking
about how tedouis one has to be in order to get the war3 crack working.
Now that finals are done, I created an install exe. I used Inno Setup to create the install file. It was very easy and took about
twenty minutes after tweaking small details. So now all the user
needs to do is enter where his warcraft III folder is. I changed
my war3crack.exe a little bit too so I updated that.
UpDate: For some reason the shortcut on the desktop isnt working
properly. If it isnt working just run war3crack.exe directly from your
warcraftIII folder.

12-10-07 Warcraft III 1.21a no cd crack
Using the amazing language of autoit, i recently modified a no cd crack for warcraft III. There is a crack at gamecopyworld.com that lets the game start up but will not let it connect to B.net.
The crack from gamecopyworld cracks the war3.exe file in the
warcraft III directory. When Warcraft III starts up, this file
checks for the cd unless its cracked. But when trying to connect
to B.net, it checks if war3.exe is correct. The trick is really
quite simple, just switch the hacked file out and put the correct file
in once warcraft is booted up.
This can be a pain because then I had to remember to
switch to the hacked file, start warcraft, minimize, switch to the
correct file, maxmize. So I created this program that does it for
me.
No-cd cracks are illegal
unless you own the game. Anyways Warcraft III is a solid game so
go buy it.
NOTE: Warcraft must be in C:\program files\warcraft III or you have to
modify the code.
